Tahatai Coast School is a large, very well resourced primary school located in sunny Papamoa, near Mount Maunganui. We have an average roll of approximately 750 students, catering for students from Years 0 to 6. Its stunning location close to Pāpāmoa Beach is reflected in the school’s curriculum, environment and culture.

At TCS we are very fortunate to have modern learning spaces and facilities. 

This means we are able to be innovative and flexible in the creating and implementing of our learning programmes. Our physical spaces do not determine how we teach, rather they can be adjusted to suit the purpose of the lesson and more importantly cater for the needs of our learners. 

Tahatai Coast School is an inclusive community that warmly welcomes parents in ‘sharing the learning journey’ with teachers and students. We believe in working in partnership with students, parents and whānau, so that a love of learning is fostered.
