What they do

Our wonderful PTA is the driving force behind all the fundraising activities at Tahatai Coast School. Fundraising is essential to give our students access to the best resources, equipment, facilities, technology and opportunities.


Current PTA committee members

The PTA meets every month, with exact dates confirmed closer to the time. We invite interested parents and teachers to join us.

Our achievement

We make a difference at Tahatai Coast School! The PTA has raised money for:

  • Our fabulous new Senior and Junior playgrounds
  • Emergency classroom kits 
  • Community defibrillator
  • Books and games for classrooms
  • Friendship bench and games to play on bench
  • Surfboards for TCS Board Riders’ Club
  • Contribution to the Scooter track
  • Te Whanau o Tahatai Breakfast Club signage and Toasters
  • Audio, visual and lighting systems for the hall
  • Sandpit shade sails
  • Gazebos for sports days
  • Mobilo for the Junior School
  • Food drives for local community groups
